The presentation topic for this event is: Mobile information management using Evernote, by Fern Chang of Kupiter.

Question: More people have a mobile phone than a pen with them, true or false?

This is not a trick question. It is an observation of the many occasions when people needed to borrow pens when asked to fill up a form.

So the answer is probably true.

This means that pen and paper are less frequently used nowadays to keep track of information like to-dos, shopping lists and phone numbers. We often use mobile phones to store these information.

Acces information on mobile devices

What about the light bulb moment of a million-dollar business idea? Can you capture it in time?

And when you need to gather information for a project proposal, can you collaborate easily with your team?

Most of us need to deal with hundreds of pieces of information every day, in various forms – text, pictures, video, audio, social media, health data, business cards, bills, brochures, instruction manuals, reports, legal documents, and more.

It makes a lot of sense to have all the information we need to work with at our finger tips, literally.

Evernote aims to achieve this goal.
